Since heirs and estate auctioneers are not used to pricing individual books, prices can reflect that lack of knowledge. I've found leather-bound limited-editions passed down for two or three generations, rare art books and even vintage magazines and collectible comics.

You'll find estate sale notices in your local newspaper, but your best bet is an online web site, estatesales.org, which lists sales and auctions nationwide by state and town. Make sure to leave your business card with the estate liquidator at any sales or auctions you attend, as they often have to dispose of book lots that are too small for a formal sale or auction.

7. Free classified advertising. A free classified ad on craigslist.org or backpage.com can result in a steady stream of used book bargains, usually before everyone finds them at a garage or estate sale. There are several massive content platform sites that you probably use daily and don't think about. I can think of one that is used by millions each day for hours on end.
Facebook, Heard of it? Yes of course you have.

Now we know that Facebook employs a lot of people now, and is constantly changing which isn't cheap, but I am sure you are aware that Mr Z was the youngest billionaire and that Facebook is worth more than the amount needed to pay off some countries debt!
But I am sure you are getting the idea here; take EzineArticles for another example, a site that has thousands of users adding content to the site every day. The idea is simple one, a site was created where the user would add their own articles that they would allow other people to use as website, newsletter and email content with the condition that the Author information and links must be kept in place.
Since Google has changed its searching process and relevant content rules article directories are not as powerful as they once were. They are still a great way though to get your content and website address seen.
But more importantly from the site owners perspective, they built a site that had users coming to the site looking for articles to use or posting articles to be used. The content creation was completely from an external source. With thousands of visitors a week they were able to have many adverts shown to thousands of eyes.
Now they have to make sure the site has plenty of storage, that it is always live and do any maintenance that is needed as well check each article to make sure that they fitted within the sites rules so there is now plenty of work for the Ezine people to do, they just don't need to worry about content which for an online business is the biggest issue.
They now have a paid membership service that gives the big article writers a quicker submission service where they can upload more than the free account and get them live quicker. Ezine Articles are cashing in from a monthly premium service, and yet the content for the site is still from an external source.
You pay them and still provide the sites content, the content that helped it become a massive content rich site.
Well I shall leave that with you, I am sure you can think of some great idea that could be the next Ezine Articles or YouTube, or at least something that will help you leave the day job and create a life living on automated passive income. Now wouldn't that be nice?

What is page rank and why does webmasters get so geared up when they hear about PR? PR is Google's way of indicating the authority of a website. The higher the page rank, the more authoritative the site. Note that a high page rank site doesn't always translate to high rankings. In fact, in recent findings, PR may have nothing to do with a site's ranking at all. So why do people still go after page rank then?
1) Branding reasons. Perhaps the number 1 reason for getting links from high PR sites is that people still want to associate their own sites with authority sites. There is a branding element involved. The rationale behind this decision is that if high PR sites link to our own sites, then there is a higher possibility that our site will also become an authority site from the perspective of Google.

3) Passing on authority. If you own well established sites, it's easier to launch new websites that serve the same niche. You can create links to you new sites to help them get established. This takes a little time but since you are the owner of high page rank sites, it costs you nothing to create those back links.
4) Sell affiliate products. As you are able to generate more traffic with an authority site, it also becomes easier to market products as an affiliate. Simply publish the content and embed your affiliate links and wait for the money to come in!

It’s important to understand the different methods for Earning Money Online. Once you grab the basic concept you will probably notice how the internet is littered with people trying to do the same thing.







There are two basic principles for making money:
  1. You can sell your own products online
  2. You can sell other peoples products online



Most people opt of the latter of the two options & this is what I will mostly be concentrating on explaining. The reason for this is because most people who start out trying to Earn Money Online do so in their spare time & then once they reach the point where they’re making more than their normal job then they will move into it on a full time basis. After all, it doesn’t make sense to quit your day job & try to do this full time without really knowing what you’re doing…..
Once you reach Full Time status you may then want to start developing your own products or ideas, many people do go down this route as it ‘cuts out the middleman’ so to speak. I will also be giving advice for people who have already started their own product range in this blog also so don’t feel left out at all :)



Over the next few posts we’ll have a look at the various methods of Affiliate Marketing. This is in essence a way of marketing other peoples products and services for them, but taking a cut whenever you generate a sale.

If you have children, the ability to earn money from home is the answer to your prayers. You will no longer experience anxiety attacks when one of them gets sick or has a day off from school. No one cares if you get to your laptop a few minutes later than usual in the hectic morning hours. If overtime looms, no problem. You can work once the kids have hit the hay. All in all working from home is sweet.
Then there's that little thing called reality. One of the first things I learned when I started working from home was that summer, when all of my kids were home during the day and didn't want to be (home, that is), was a whole new adventure. Suddenly I couldn't just drop them off at the sitter's and enjoy eight quiet, blissful, uninterrupted hours to concentrate on what I had to do. Instead, I was filling sippy cups, restarting cartoons and dragging my laptop to the park...and Chuck E. Cheese... and Funland... and any other place I could think of that would keep them entertained for more than half an hour so I could put a dent in my to-do list.


So, you can work after the kids go to bed, yes? No. You can be so tired when at last it's time to put them to bed, you can barely do the dishes and straighten up until at last it's your bed time too. Obviously to remain sane, a plan is in order. Below are the five steps to a plan that will work for any work at home mom.
1) Get up earlier than your kids to read and respond to emails. Then don't even look at your email until lunch time. It is amazing how much time emails can take out of your day. If you are not a morning person, learn how to become one. You need these early morning hours to update social media sites, blogs and do your email.
2) Take a break and eat breakfast with the kids. The number one problem with working from home when you've got kids is the way you can't get them to focus on something else long enough for you to get anything done. I learned quickly that taking time out throughout the day to spend time with the kids balances nicely with asking them to go play for an hour or two so I could get some work done. Play for an hour, work for two, then break for lunch. They don't feel neglected, and you don't feel like you're falling behind.
3) Never rule out calling in a babysitter when you have deadlines fast approaching. Hiring a babysitter to watch your kids while you are at home may seem counterproductive, but if you are feeling a time crunch and the little brats won't leave you alone no matter what, it's time to hire one. Even better, send them off to a little friends for a play day. I'll bet you have friends with kids that would love to swap baby sitting duties with you. If you don't, go find some.
4) When you go on vacation, leave your laptop at home. Working from home is still working after all. You need a break. So when you can finally take that vacation, really take it. Don't even think about work. Have fun with your family and enjoy the time off.

5) Keep scheduled work hours. Children do much better with a schedule that is followed religiously, or at least somewhat religiously. If you are able to inform them that in one hour we will go to the park and have a picnic, do that in one hour. They will cooperate with you and leave you alone until that hour comes, making the day far more pleasant for all of you. Work at home success is what you were after in the first place. These brief tips will help you get there.

Online Articles Earning

In a break between the two series I’m blogging about, my internship and mastering twitter marketing, I’m going to explain the new project that I’m working on. By new, I mean that I haven’t visited it in a while, but it’s not truly new. I started it in January actually, but I’m going to make it more of a priority.


So what is this new project? Well, it’s a way to make some extra money for myself going forward to put into making this blog better and being able to pay for my own personal expenses. This project is article writing for a website where you can earn revenue from the content you write.
This website is called Factoidz and I currently have 18 articles published on it. I earn about $1 per month on these articles. But this is without much work in the past few months. The most I wrote in one month is about 4 articles. And some of my top earning articles are from January or February, my first two months on Factoidz.

The first thing is to figure out who you are writing an article to. You can write about things in your blog’s niche or not. I have articles on both Internet Business and other topics that I know about. It’s a good idea to write about as many topics as possible, in fact I have an article on that. This can help you expand your audience as you rank for new keywords and just appeal to more people. People may have overlapping interests and bam! you have a new person subscribed to your blog’s email list.
